School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Nottingham Ningbo Visits Sino-German Branding Institute

Mr. Xie Yingying, Director of Academic Department of Zhejiang Wanli University, and Mr. Zhang Yiping, Director of Sino-German Branding Department and Dean of Sino-German School of Design and Communication, received the guests. Both sides discussedChinese-foreign cooperative education, academic discipline construction, internationalized scientific researchand other content for the exchange of experience.

President Zhang Yiping welcomed the guests and hoped that this exchange would deepen the cooperation between the two institutions and jointly promote the interdisciplinary development in the field of humanities and social sciences.

Stefan Waller, Vice Dean of the Joint School of the German University of Branding and Applied Sciences at Zhejiang Wanli College, introduced the school situation of the Sino-German Branding Department to Dean Morrison and his delegation. He mentioned that the Sino-German Branding Department has always been upholding "Chinese Spirit, German Standard, Brand Leadership, Integration of Industry, Science and EducationWith the tenet of "to optimize the educational resources and teaching environment, to improve the quality of teaching and the level of internationalization, we are committed to cultivating outstanding interdisciplinary brand building talents with international vision and innovation ability.

Mr. Dai Yimiao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Nottingham Ningbo, introduced the degree programs, research fields, representative scientific research works, unique advantages of the School, overseas study platforms, and the employment status of the graduates, etc. He also introduced the degree programs of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Nottingham Ningbo. He emphasized that the School of Humanities and Social Sciences has always adhered to the original intention of educating people, and is committed to cultivating international professionals and leaders with high adaptability and the ability to cope with the complex challenges of the future, in order to cope with the increasingly complex and volatile needs of the society in the post-globalization context.

After the sharing session, both sides had an in-depth exchange and discussion on internationalized schooling and education experience. Both sides reached a consensus that in the future, they will further strengthen the exchange of teachers and students and the cooperation in textbook research between the two institutions, learn from each other, share resources, and strive to create more opportunities for cooperation.
